PATANJALI YOGA SUTRA

21 Hours Online Patanjali Yoga Sutra Course

OVERVIEW

The contemporary popularity of postural Yoga at times results in a lack of awareness among practitioners and/or existence of certain misconceptions about the essence of Yoga. In fact, asana practice is only one small element of this ancient Indian science, discipline, and philosophy. At Yoga Sangha, our emphasis is strongly philosophical and we set it as a goal to spread and propagate the deep wisdom of Yoga Philosophy and its application in contemporary life. Becoming exposed to, exploring, and understanding a philosophy that has been evolving for thousands of years can become a truly satisfying experience that can deepen one’s Yoga practice by posing and answering questions which have become crucial to ask in modern times. Illuminating the history of Yoga Philosophy, its ancient roots, its development over the course of millennia and its core scriptures, we seek to educate anyone interested in exploring the Self through the study of Yoga.
