Yoga Project Co-ordinator & Teacher

I graduated from English Philology, doing my MA research in autobiographical memory and I continued my academic pursuits for two years in the area of Postcolonial Studies. Currently, I am doing my MA in Anthropology in the area of modern yogic practices and spiritual quests in the West. With my educational background and 15-year experience as an English Teacher I have been travelling across Europe and to India.

My life among people of various cultures has inspired me to reflect on how we differ but also on what links us in our experience of being human. My first introduction to Yoga philosophy happened in 2008. Since 2010, I have been a practitioner of Yoga as a spiritual, philosophical and physical discipline. With time, I slowly started leaning towards sharing Yoga with others and following a lifestyle conducive for a Yoga practitioner. My dedication to Yoga led me to do my Yoga Alliance teacher trainings in Dharamsala, India. To me, Yoga is a path of self-discovery and increased awareness. At the Yoga Sangha, I take care of the Yoga Project, our unique programme for pursuing Yoga academically, and I teach Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Art of Teaching in our TTCs.
