Cancellations & Refunds
Deposit
A deposit of €300 is required to reserve your place in any yoga teacher training. This deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance, including cancellation, medical reasons, or visa issues.
Cancellation by you
If you cancel your participation, the deposit is forfeited. No refund is issued on any amount paid. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@devvratyoga.com.
Cancellation by Devvrat Yoga Sangha
If we cancel a program due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or insufficient enrolment, we will offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred outside of the program fee.
Transfers & Deferrals
If you wish to postpone your program to a later date: with 30 days or more notice before the start date, you may transfer at no additional cost, subject to availability.
With less than 30 days notice, a transfer fee of €100 applies. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@devvratyoga.com. Transfers are subject to availability and can only be made once.
Health & fitness
Our programs are physically and mentally demanding. By applying, you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and suitable for intensive residential practice. You are required to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or mental health history that may be relevant to your participation. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the program if we reasonably believe your condition puts you or others at risk. We are not a medical or therapeutic facility. Our programs are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
Participant conduct
Participants are expected to treat teachers, staff, and fellow participants with respect at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, harmful, or incompatible with the program environment, without refund. Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted on campus or during program activities.
Liability
Participation in yoga, meditation, and physical practice carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devvrat Yoga Sangha is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to property arising from your participation in our programs or your visit to our campus. You are responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses and cancellation.
Intellectual property
All content on the Devvrat Yoga Sangha website and in our program materials, including curriculum content, written materials, images, and videos, is the property of Devvrat Yoga Sangha and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission. Upon completing the 100H, 200H or 300H Teacher Training, you receive a certification to teach. This does not transfer ownership of Devvrat Yoga Sangha’s curriculum or materials.
Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at devvratyoga.com/privacy-policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the website or participation in a program following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in our programs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
