7:00 AM: Yoga Asana Practice Class
Practicing Hatha or Ashtanga yoga first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, is not only how traditional and authentic yoga is meant to be practiced, it’s also surprisingly energizing and sets the right mood for the day. Thankfully, our yoga shalas are located right on-site, so it’s just a matter of rolling out of your bed anto your mat.
In our asana classes, you will practice a variety of sequences and postures in an outdoor but intimate and serene space, surrounded by tropical plants (and occasionally the visit of a furry friend). You will also learn to adjust and align yoga poses, both for yourself and as part of your teaching practice.
Tip: Our teachers are here to support and guide you, so don’t hold back to request personal assistance. There are no stupid questions, and we are happy to help you during or after class.
